Most regularly gigging bands do not own, or wish to own a full PA and lighting rig. It constitutes a major investment which often has to be jointly owned by the band members, and this becomes very difficult to deal with should the band line-up change at all. It also means extra time and effort for the band at each gig, where the main objective for them is to perform, and not have to be a sound or lighting engineer at the same time.
Intelligentsia exists to support emerging and regularly gigging bands so that they can do what they do best - play music - and let someone else worry about the sound and lighting.
